Being human

Just watched Hotel Rwanda. A reminder of just how gruesome human beings can be to one another but also that we should never lose faith in their goodness too ...It's something I always try to remember. Sadly we know all too much about atrocities worldwide, they're presented to us in the comfort of our own homes so nothing really shocks me anymore and I'm often guilty of witnessing things on the news and just thinking how awful that is but then carry on eating my dinner. It sounds as if we all did just that in 1994...Incredible! I wonder how much we ever really learn...
