At last! After many a stressful trip back and forth to the flat, with various black sacks & boxes of 'stuff', I'm finally home. The tenant moved in today and fingers crossed she pays the rent. She seems nice enough but of course you just never know. Still, what's the worst that could happen?Feels very weird being back in my little old room - thank god for Becky who's here too. Poor dad thought he'd got rid of us ages ago but no, we're both back and up to our old tricks - leaving all the lights on, cranking the heating up as soon as he's out etc. We're just proving what he already thinks- we exist to annoy him... I'm sure he loves it really ? :0} and anyway, it's not for long.
Yesterday, I finally received details of four placements for me to consider- Pakistan, Nigeria, Eritrea and...Rwanda! I'm really trying not to judge these all too quickly but on paper it's between Rwanda and Eritrea. I have sooo much paperwork to read through tonight but within the next couple of days I have to let my adviser (Julie) know which two, if any, I'm thinking about. Once I do that and after further research there is yet more paperwork to fill out before the next stage of accepting the position... My adviser sent a lovely email saying they normally send only 1 or 2 at a time but that my application had proved very popular with the employers. Obviously, this is probably just a cunning ploy to keep my interest but I'm now really worried I've over-sold myself...Well there's only one way to find out!
