Just a quick one...

Last day of training today and it was nice to have Tiga join us. She does what we do but in Butare district and has been here since last September. This was probably the smallest session we've done but with around 30 it was still a good turn out. (May training pics)
It's been really encouraging seeing the teachers enjoy the activities and understand how they can use them to make their lessons more active and participative I just hope they're able to translate what they've learnt in training to their work in class. Anyway, we've done what we can for now and I'm looking forward to seeing this in practice later on. We're planning to follow it up but I'm just worried about World Vision. They've been so unreliable at times I'm reluctant to do it. That said, they have the money, so I guess I just have to be patient!

The work for Mineduc looks like it's going ahead so will need to pop back home tonight back for the 2 days training and head to Kigali again tomorrow. We're apparently staying at a really nice guest house so have shower gel and shampoo at the the ready!

At the weekend, I've volunteered to help out with a training in Gitarama so will head there on Saturday. Soraya's organised this one so it'll be nice to see someone else's training. Amongst other things it'll be great not to be the one wondering when lunch will arrive...
